TO ALL MEMBERS:
Our 2011 Reunion will be in Cincinnati, OH back where the Association began. We’re hoping a lot of the original World War II guys will be able to get to the hospitality room. Only one was able to make the trip to Chicago. Our dates will be September 15, 16, and 17, 2011.
This year’s reunion will be held at the Garfield Suites Hotel, 2 Garfield Place, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202. You can begin making reservations now via their toll-free number 800-367-2155, for the Association price of $99.00 a night. Breakfast should be included. If you are planning to come in early or staying an extra day or two, they will give you the same rate for the three (3) days before and after. Just in case, let me or Mike Zenisek know at our Association e-mail address if any problems arise.
We will be working on a tour of the Air Force Museum and whatever else we can find. I know the Chicago Cubs will be playing the Cincinnati Reds that week. I’m sure our Cincinnati members will have a few suggestions for us, also. These are the basics, we’ll have more specific information in the summer as we get nearer to September and our plans start coming together.
If you were a member of the 504th Military Police Battalion either a regular company or a unit attached to the battalion at any point, we welcome your membership. Dues are just $20 a year to keep up with all the news. Get an Application/Information form by sending an e-mail to 504thmpbna@comcast.net . We currently have over 100 active members. Shirts, hats and "Challenge Coins" are available to members.
